About

Eurostat GISCO (Geographic Information System of the Commission) is the reference geographic information provider for the European Union. GISCO creates and distributes spatial datasets of administrative units, including Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS 1, 2, and 3), Local Administrative Units (LAU), countries, and functional urban areas across European states at cartographic scales ranging from 1:1M to 1:60M.
