About

The target Access Control connector reads door state, credential events, and schedules and can propose bounded changes. Any grant, revocation, schedule, or release requires certified local controls, explicit authority, per-entity serialization, and independent outcome verification.

This is the connector where fail-closed matters most, and it behaves accordingly: writes start propose-only managed early access, an ambiguous state means no action, and a retried command is an idempotent no-op rather than a door opened twice. Every grant and revoke leaves a receipt naming the credential, the door, and the decision that caused it. Built and maintained by Fibric, wired with a Fibric deployment engineer through the early-access program.

Highlights

  • Grants, revokes, schedules door access
  • Single-flight per door
  • Writes use idempotency keys and single-flight controls to suppress duplicate effects on retry
  • Provisioned with a deployment engineer through the early-access program

Authentication

Authenticates to your access control platform's management API with a dedicated integration account scoped to the doors and credential groups in play.

What it reads

  • Door state and held-open or forced-door events
  • Credential use: who badged where, and when
  • Access schedules and their current effective state

What it can do

  • Grant or revoke a credential's access to a door group, propose-only to start
  • Set or adjust a door schedule within policy bounds
  • Trigger a momentary door release for a vetted, receipted request

How it works

1

Sense

Door state and held-open or forced-door events.

2

Reason

Operators reason over this connector's signals next to the rest of your stack, so decisions are grounded in the same records you run on.

3

Act

Target capability: Grant or revoke a credential's access to a door group, propose-only to start. Actual authority, duplicate controls, and recovery depend on the validated deployment and downstream system.

Managed early access

This listing is informational and not self-serve. A deployment review must validate the connector, credentials, action boundary, recovery path, support, and contractual pricing before use.

Deployment engineer
Wires and verifies the integration with you during onboarding
Managed validation
Review maturity, authority, supported records, and deployment boundaries before go-live
Execution records
Supported reads, proposals, policy decisions, and reported outcomes kept for review
Support from the builders
Developed, run, and supported directly by Fibric

Requirements

System requirements
  • An access control platform with a management API Fibric can reach
  • A dedicated integration account limited to the in-scope doors and groups
  • A written policy for which actions may ever be automated

Your deployment engineer verifies each line with you during onboarding.

Support and resources

Supported by the people who built it

This connector is developed, run, and supported by the same Fibric team. Support starts during onboarding with a named deployment engineer and doesn't hand you off afterward.

Bring Access Control into your early-access deployment

Early access means a deployment engineer wires this with you, and it runs propose-only until you approve live actions.
