About

The EBI connector integrates with Honeywell Enterprise Buildings Integrator, the supervisory platform that many portfolios run across HVAC, security, and energy subsystems. It reads point values, alarm activity, and schedule state through an integration interface agreed with your site team, normalizing points from multiple sites into one governed model so an operator can compare like with like across the portfolio.

Where writes are enabled they are supervisory and bounded: allow-listed points only, single-flight, idempotent, propose-only to start, with a receipt per command and nothing run when trust is in doubt. Fibric builds and maintains this connector independently; it is not a Honeywell product and no partnership or certification is claimed. It is managed early access, wired with a Fibric deployment engineer through the early-access program.

Highlights

  • Reads HVAC, security, energy points
  • Portfolio-wide picture
  • Writes use idempotency keys and single-flight controls to suppress duplicate effects on retry
  • Provisioned with a deployment engineer through the early-access program

Authentication

Authenticates with a dedicated Honeywell EBI integration account, scoped to the points and sites in the connector's configuration.

What it reads

  • HVAC point values and equipment state across connected sites
  • Security and access events surfaced through EBI
  • Energy and metering points, normalized per site for portfolio comparison

What it can do

  • Write a supervisory setpoint to an allow-listed point, propose-only to start
  • Acknowledge a routed alarm as part of a vetted, receipted plan

How it works

1

Sense

HVAC point values and equipment state across connected sites.

2

Reason

Operators reason over this connector's signals next to the rest of your stack, so decisions are grounded in the same records you run on.

3

Act

Target capability: Write a supervisory setpoint to an allow-listed point, propose-only to start. Actual authority, duplicate controls, and recovery depend on the validated deployment and downstream system.

Managed early access

This listing is informational and not self-serve. A deployment review must validate the connector, credentials, action boundary, recovery path, support, and contractual pricing before use.

Deployment engineer
Wires and verifies the integration with you during onboarding
Managed validation
Review maturity, authority, supported records, and deployment boundaries before go-live
Execution records
Supported reads, proposals, policy decisions, and reported outcomes kept for review
Support from the builders
Developed, run, and supported directly by Fibric

Requirements

System requirements
  • An EBI server with an integration interface Fibric can reach, agreed with your site team
  • A dedicated integration account limited to in-scope points
  • A site-by-site point inventory for normalization

Your deployment engineer verifies each line with you during onboarding.

Support and resources

Supported by the people who built it

This connector is developed, run, and supported by the same Fibric team. Support starts during onboarding with a named deployment engineer and doesn't hand you off afterward.

Bring Honeywell EBI into your early-access deployment

Early access means a deployment engineer wires this with you, and it runs propose-only until you approve live actions.
