About

FluNet is the global web-based tool for influenza virological surveillance established by the World Health Organization Global Influenza Programme in 1997. FluNet collects weekly laboratory-confirmed influenza detection counts reported by National Influenza Centres (NICs) of the Global Influenza Surveillance and Response System (GISRS) across more than 150 countries, categorizing detections by virus type, subtype, and lineage.
