Cookie Policy
This policy explains cookies and browser storage on fibric.io and docs.fibric.io, what they do, and how to change your choices. Nothing non-essential runs until you say so.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. We also use local storage and session storage; this policy covers these technologies too. Session storage is limited to a browser tab session. Cookies set by us are "first-party"; cookies set by other companies through our pages would be "third-party" — we currently set none.
How we use them
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to function and to remember your consent choice. These do not need consent and cannot be switched off.
- Analytics — help us understand which recognized sources lead to access requests. Referral information stays in session storage until you submit a request. Off by default; requires analytics consent and stays off when Global Privacy Control is present.
- Marketing — would support measuring campaigns. Off by default; only run if you consent. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal and force this category off when it is present.
We do not use cookies for cross-site tracking or sell data collected through cookies.

Your consent
The first time you visit, a banner offers Accept all, Reject all, and Manage preferences with equal prominence. Your choice is stored for 12 months, after which we ask again. Change it any time with Cookie preferences in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and takes effect immediately.
Withdrawing analytics consent clears referral information from your browser. It does not delete information already sent with an access request. Once submitted, referral information is linked to that request and follows its retention. See the Privacy Policy for retention and your rights.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing under the CCPA and similar laws, automatically and without any action from you. Marketing cookies and website referral measurement stay off while the signal is present. Any referral information stored in your browser is cleared when we detect the signal.
Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may mean we cannot remember your consent choice, so the banner will reappear.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes materially, we bump the consent version, which makes the banner re-appear so you can decide again with current information.
