Requirements

  • An active Amplitude project with an API Key and Secret Key generated in project settings
  • Consistent user_id and device_id identifiers passed on client events
  • Permissions to query Dashboard REST APIs and Cohorts APIs
Authentication
Amplitude API Key and Secret Key passed as HTTP Basic authentication or provided in JSON request payloads.

Limits

  • Batch event uploads cap requests at 2,000 events and 1 megabyte per API payload
  • Chart query endpoints enforce rate limits of 10 concurrent requests per project
  • Export API requests are limited to 1 concurrent request per project with hourly data partitioning

What endpoints does Amplitude provide for event tracking?
Amplitude provides the HTTP V2 API at api2.amplitude.com/2/httpapi for uploading single events or batches up to 2,000 events per request, as well as the Batch API for large backfill uploads.
Can Fibric download member lists of Amplitude cohorts?
Yes. Fibric can request cohort memberships through the Cohorts API, retrieving user IDs and device IDs of individuals matching defined behavioral conditions.
Does Fibric alter chart configurations in Amplitude?
No. Fibric queries existing chart definitions and data points to evaluate trends. It can propose adding chart annotations or syncing cohorts, leaving chart formulas intact.
