Bank Rate, sterling exchange rates, quoted and effective interest rates, and money and credit series from the Bank of England Database.
The Bank of England Database, also called the Statistical Interactive Database, lets you browse, visualise, and export the data series the Bank publishes: Bank Rate, daily spot exchange rates against sterling, quoted household and effective interest rates, capital issuance, and the money and credit statistics behind the Bankstats tables. Each series has a code, usually seven characters: a three-letter prefix and a four-character code, sometimes with a suffix for a bank group or country. Any set of codes can be fetched as CSV, Excel, HTML, or XML by URL, with no key.
Through Fibric, an operator fetches the codes you name each morning after the update, compares them with the previous values, and proposes a change to a pricing or credit assumption for your approval. The series code and reporting date go on the record.
This is a reference listing. It documents what Fibric would read from Bank of England Statistical Interactive Database and what it could propose, based on the publisher's published interfaces. Fibric builds it under a managed deployment when you request it; selecting it here installs nothing.
Read-only. This feed informs operators; it changes nothing.
Proposed actions are target capabilities. Every action runs propose-first and needs a validated deployment and the appropriate permissions.
After the 9:30am update the operator reads the sterling spot rates for the currencies you buy or sell in and proposes a price-list adjustment where the rate has moved past your threshold, with the rate date attached.
With Price List Drift
When Bank Rate changes, the operator proposes a review of late-payment charges, credit holds, and dunning timing for sterling accounts, quoting the new rate and the date it took effect.
With Credit Hold, Dunning Cadence
For sterling payouts booked in another currency, the operator fetches the spot rate for the settlement date and proposes reconciliation entries where the booked rate differs from the Bank's daily rate.
Reference listing. Public feed access is separate from Fibric integration. If you request this feed, your quote covers the build, usage, and support.
