Tridium Niagara

Writes setpoints and overrides back through your Niagara station, one command at a time, each with a receipt.

About

The target Niagara connector reads points, schedules, and alarms and can propose supervised setpoints or overrides. A real deployment must validate Niagara priority behavior, certified local overrides, life-safety exclusion, release semantics, and recovery before any write is enabled.

Managed early access starts with proposals and human review. Per-point serialization and stable keys reduce duplicate risk; supported records capture the reported outcome. Certified local systems remain authoritative, and ambiguous state must block the proposed path.

Highlights

  • Writes setpoints and overrides
  • Fail-closed
  • Receipt per command
  • Writes use idempotency keys and single-flight controls to suppress duplicate effects on retry

Authentication

Authenticates as a dedicated Niagara station user over HTTPS, using Fox/obix or the station's REST interface, scoped to the points on its allow-list.

What it reads

  • Point values, schedules, and alarm state from the station
  • Priority-array state per writable point, so Fibric knows what currently owns it
  • Station health and point staleness

What it can do

  • Write a setpoint or override at a configured priority level, fail-closed
  • Release a Fibric-held override, returning the point to station control
  • Adjust a schedule within the bounds you set per point

How it works

1

Sense

Point values, schedules, and alarm state from the station.

2

Reason

Operators reason over this connector's signals next to the rest of your stack, so decisions are grounded in the same records you run on.

3

Act

Target capability: Write a setpoint or override at a configured priority level, fail-closed. Actual authority, duplicate controls, and recovery depend on the validated deployment and downstream system.

Pricing

Managed early access

This listing is informational and not self-serve. A deployment review must validate the connector, credentials, action boundary, recovery path, support, and contractual pricing before use.

Deployment engineer
Wires and verifies the integration with you during onboarding
Managed validation
Review maturity, authority, supported records, and deployment boundaries before go-live
Execution records
Supported reads, proposals, policy decisions, and reported outcomes kept for review
Support from the builders
Developed, run, and supported directly by Fibric

Requirements

System requirements
  • Niagara 4 station with the web service enabled
  • A dedicated station user with permissions limited to the allow-listed points
  • An agreed write priority level per point class

Your deployment engineer verifies each line with you during onboarding.

Support and resources

Supported by the people who built it

This connector is developed, run, and supported by the same Fibric team. Support starts during onboarding with a named deployment engineer and doesn't hand you off afterward.

Bring Tridium Niagara into your early-access deployment

Early access means a deployment engineer wires this with you, and it runs propose-only until you approve live actions.
