Qualtrics

Surveys, response exports, distributions, directory contacts, and event subscriptions via the Qualtrics XM Platform APIs.

About

Qualtrics is an experience management platform used by enterprises to collect and analyze customer, employee, brand, and product feedback. Its REST v3 API enables programmatic survey lifecycle administration, asynchronous response export jobs, automated email and SMS survey distributions, XM Directory contact management, and event-driven webhook subscriptions.

Through Fibric, an operator monitors incoming customer survey scores and feedback comments, proposing response follow-ups or survey distributions for team approval.

This is a reference listing. It documents what Fibric would read from Qualtrics and what it could propose, based on the vendor's published interfaces. Fibric builds it under a managed deployment when you request it; selecting it here installs nothing.

Inputs

  • Survey definitions, question blocks, and metadata via GET /API/v3/surveys/{surveyId}
  • Response exports initiated and downloaded through the Response Exports API
  • Distribution records, bounce rates, and send histories from GET /API/v3/distributions
  • XM Directory contact profiles, transaction records, and opt-out statuses via Directory APIs
  • Event subscriptions and webhook deliveries triggered on completed survey responses

Proposed actions

  • Target capability: propose creating and sending a survey distribution via POST /API/v3/distributions
  • Target capability: propose creating or updating an XM Directory contact profile
  • Target capability: propose registering an event subscription for survey response events
  • Target capability: propose adding a response transaction record to a contact history

Proposed actions are target capabilities. Every action runs propose-first and needs a validated deployment and the appropriate permissions.

What you can build

  • Route low NPS responses to account managers

When a customer submits a detractor NPS score, parse survey responses and propose creating an urgent outreach task with attached customer history.

    With Detractor Callback, Feedback Themes

  • Trigger post-resolution survey distributions

When support tickets or delivery disputes close, propose dispatching a satisfaction survey to the customer contact while keeping contact fatigue rules intact.

    With Survey Timing

  • Analyze customer sentiment trends across product lines

Export open-text survey comments monthly and propose categorized summaries of recurring product friction points for engineering reviews.

    With Feedback Themes, Contact Drivers

Questions and answers

How are survey responses retrieved from Qualtrics?
Qualtrics uses an asynchronous export process. The connector initiates an export job via POST /API/v3/surveys/{surveyId}/export-responses, monitors job completion status, and downloads the resulting file archive.
Can Fibric update customer directory contact data?
Yes. Fibric can propose creating or updating contact attributes and opt-out preferences within Qualtrics XM Directory, ensuring customer contact records stay current.
Does Fibric send surveys automatically without approval?
No. Fibric identifies eligible contacts and drafts distribution proposals following frequency capping rules. A team member confirms the distribution proposal before Qualtrics sends messages.
